Sewing Circles with Samavesi Come together in a sewing circle. Each gathering is shaped for your group, with materials provided and the option to bring your own. Everyone leaves with something handmade to remember the time shared. What’s included • 3 hours of guided instruction • Fabric, tools, and shared sewing machines • A customized project designed for your group $40 per person per hour · 3-hour class ____ Examples of classes: • Intro to Pattern Making: Learn the basics of how patterns work as a group. Together we’ll start with a miniature block, play with moving darts and shifting shapes, then each person designs their own variation. We’ll cut and sew mini garment samples from those patterns. It's a hands-on way for everyone to see their ideas come to life. • Visible Mending Circle: Gather with clothes that need care and learn creative patching and stitching techniques. Everyone practices visible mending on their own garments, adding color, texture, and story to what they already own. • Upcycling Sewing Circle: Start by making a drawstring bag from a sheet, tee, or fabric scraps. Then fill it with handmade treasures — scrunchies, coasters etc.
